The New NexDock Is Now in Stock – Shipping to 30+ Countries

We’re excited to share a big milestone:

The new 6th-generation NexDock is now in stock and ready to ship from our Hong Kong warehouse to 30+ countries worldwide.

Our Best Display Yet: 14″ 16:10 Touchscreen

The new NexDock is built around a 14-inch-class WUXGA (1920×1200) 16:10 touchscreen panel with 100% sRGB color coverage. Compared to previous generations, the screen is:

• Sharper, thanks to the 1920×1200 16:10 panel

• Brighter, with a typical 400-nit brightness (340–460 nits range), making it much more comfortable in brighter rooms

• More accurate in color, with 100% sRGB and a 1000:1 contrast ratio for richer, more lifelike images

• Easier on the eyes, thanks to a low-blue-light, fine anti-glare matte surface that cuts reflections

Community testers from r/SamsungDex called it “much better than the 360” in terms of brightness and color reproduction and immediately noticed the difference in side-by-side comparisons.

6th-Generation, 10 Years of Refinement

Since the original NexDock shipped back in 2016, we’ve gone through multiple generations – NexDock 2, Touch, 360, XL – and incorporated feedback from thousands of DeX and lapdock power users along the way.

This new NexDock is the 6th generation in that journey. It keeps what people love (clean design, full-size keyboard, big battery) and focuses hard on the two things most of you told us matter most:

• A better screen

• A much better touchpad

A Trackpad That Finally Feels Like a Real Laptop

Trackpads have historically been the weak point of almost every lapdock – including some of our earlier models. With this generation, we went back to the drawing board.

The new touchpad is:

• Much more responsive and consistent

• Far better at palm rejection, so your cursor stays put while you type

• Smooth with two- and three-finger gestures across Android desktop modes, Windows, SteamOS, and Linux

A recent r/SamsungDex review even rated it alongside premium laptop trackpads, calling it “a legit trackpad now, not a mouse disguised as a trackpad” and “better than every other lapdock trackpad out there right now.”

If you’ve ever hesitated on lapdocks because of the trackpad, this is the NexDock we always wanted you to try first.

Louder, Clearer Speakers

Audio has gotten a serious upgrade too. The new NexDock now features 2× 2W bottom-firing speakers that are noticeably louder and fuller than previous generations.

It’s not meant to replace a home theater system—but for YouTube, Netflix, calls, and everyday use, it’s a big step forward.

Battery Life & Bonus Docking Feature

Inside, the new NexDock carries a 38Wh battery, delivering around 6–7 hours of real-world use (video, browsing, work) at medium brightness when the connected phone isn’t being charged.

When you do want to charge your device, the USB-C video port can optionally back-feed power to your phone or handheld. We’ve improved this from 5V/1A to 5V/2A, so it now tops up your device noticeably faster while you work or play.

Bonus: When NexDock is plugged into power, it can keep charging your connected USB devices even when the lapdock is turned off, acting more like a true USB-C dock on your desk.

Worldwide Shipping From Hong Kong

At launch, we’re shipping the new NexDock from our Hong Kong logistics hub to 30+ countries, with all taxes and import duties included in the $229 price (plus shipping to your country) for supported regions.

• US customers can order now from Hong Kong at the same all-in pricing, or wait for local US stock arriving in early 2026.

• Customers across much of Europe, Asia, and Oceania can also order immediately—we’ll continue adding more regions as new logistics partners come online.
