We are happy to announce that we’ve started the mass manufacturing of the NexDock Touch — an improved version of NexDock 2 with touch screen display.
We have been testing the final prototype for the last couple of weeks. Our touch-screen works great with any device connected to NexDock Touch.
Magnetic Side Mount
We have also been developing a magnetic side mount for your phone that will work with all NexDock models. It works very similar to magnetic car mounts. It does not require any clips to mount your phone and it is a perfect travel companion for your NexDock.

Improvements
NexDock Touch and NexDock 2 have similar dimensions, weight and specs but the former will come with numerous improvements compared to the latter:
· 14-inch Touch Screen
· Super narrow bezels
· 60Wh battery (instead of 51Wh on NexDock2)
· Improved speakers
· Bigger and improved touchpad
On this new shell the webcam at the bottom of the display is removed and the space inside is used for the chipset of the touch screen.
All other ports and features of NexDock Touch are exactly same with NexDock 2
As with previous generations NexDock Touch will continue to work with mini PC’s and Raspberry Pi by turning them into a touch screen laptop.
We’ve recently discovered that Raspberry Pi 4 works with only 2 cables -both on NexDock 2 and NexDock Touch- by adding a single line of code to /boot/config.txt : dtoverlay=dwc2,dr_mode=host

NexDock Touch can also work as a secondary touch-screen display for your Laptop, Chromebook, Macbook and more.
It even works as secondary screen for iPad Pro with keyboard and touchpad support (but unfortunately, iOS does not support external touch-screens or extended display).

NexDock Touch can be secured at the early bird price of $249 by pre-ordering today. The price of Nexdock Touch maybe subject to an increase as we get closer to shipment. The expected MSRP is $319. Therefore, the earlier you pre-order yours, the better a deal you get!
A down payment of $100 is all you need to lock the best price.
Balance payment
The balance for pre-orders will be due 6 weeks prior to the shipping of your Nexdock Touch. Payments will be accepted until 2 weeks before shipping. Further details will be available at customer account pages at our website after the beginning of July 2020. We will also contact pre-order owners by email.
Shipments end of August 2020
Although the wheels are in motion for mass manufacturing, not all factories work in full capacity due to the pandemic. We expect delays on some of the components and therefore the manufacturing may take longer than usual.
We aim to ship all pre-orders by 31 August 2020 and do not expect other delays.
