We have some good news about Raspberry Pi 3!
We’ve been receiving questions whether NexDock will work with Raspberry Pi 3. Finally, we received ours in mail the other day and thoroughly tested yesterday. NexDock worked fine with Raspberry Pi 3, there were no problems in power compatibility since new Pi3 works on a minimum current of 1.8Amp. We ran youtube videos for several hours, both NexDock and Pi 3 performed great. Here is a short video from our test which we also shared on Twitter and Facebook:
We’ll continue testing NexDock with a few more new devices during next week and sharing results with videos here. In the meantime, please help us in spreading the word to Raspberry Pi communities that NexDock turns Pi 3s into a laptop too!
