I really love the idea of just having a shell that you can keep the same and then having the “computer” upgraded whenever the phone is upgraded.

The steamdeck + the nexdock have been a sweet setup while I was recovering from hip surgery. When the steamdeck needed to charge, I would just use my phone and steam link to game. Nexdock is also great for setting up computers without needing a lot.

I have a custom desktop computer where I mostly spend time gaming, but I find that I have zero need for another actual computer. I use my phone quite a bit, however, and so the Nexdock seemed like the perfect addition to my suite of technology without commiting to a completely new device.

I love that I can turn off the touchpad. Since my phone is already hooked up, I just use it as the touchpad, which means it stays out of the way as I am typing.

At the end of the day, this is a simple, well-executed concept. I dream of a day where technology is even more portable and interchangeable. The Nexdock certainly envisions such a future. I hope this finds more people.

I’ve been using NexDock constantly with my steam deck since it arrived. I travel to a lot of conventions and I feel like its going to be with me at all of them.

NexDock is great for just hooking up to computers and configuring them without having to deal with a monitor, keyboard and mouse. Really versatile little device.
