NexDock 360 Reviews

convinced my own mother to try NexDock
I recently convinced my own mother and a coworker to try the NexDock with their Samsung devices to use DeX as their laptop and they love it. For their use case, it’s perfect because most of their computing needs doesn’t require specialized x86 programs and can be solved via either an app or a browser.
Great Investment
Let me say how happy I am to have this little brainchild and what a great investment it turned out to be. Congrats to all involved. Nothing is perfect right away, but what you guys did here is very special.
I'm glad I purchased it
I recently got one of these, and I’m loving it so far. As someone who uses Samsung phones, being able to use this for Dex is pretty nice. It’s definitely a pretty niche item though. I’ve been using it in conjunction with my Fold 3 & WIN 2 primarily. It’s been pretty nice for running smaller Steam games natively (on the WIN 2) or streaming from my main PC with Moonlight (for games)/Parsec (for using applications) when I need to. So far I’m glad I purchased it, but it took a LONG time to get to me and I’ve heard other people on reddit complain about some issues with their specific units.
a great tool for me
I am nearly sixty years old, not really of the gaming generation so my phone(samsung note 20 ultra) is my workhouse as I am in sales. NextDock seems like a great tool for me. Not so much for work but at the end of the day when I want to check my personal emails and Instagram or research on line, I would not have to pull out my work laptop but just plug in my phone and go about my business. Yes, the NexDock seems to have a few bugs but most are not the dock but the phone and the phones are going to continue to improve along with the software. I hate dealing with almost out of date computers as they slow down and get filled up with spam and malware. This solves that problem for a lot less money.
cloud gaming with your phone
I’ve got both the Z Fold 3 and also the NexDock 360…. I thought I was going to be able to mitigate the need for a true windows laptop because of Shadow PC, but you need a stable connection to have even a halfway decent experience… when connected to my gigabit ethernet at home, it works close to perfectly, but then, if I’m at home, I’d just using my desktop, anyways, so no need to bust out the entire nexdock, fold 3, mouse, and phone stand just to use a few features… if anything, I think the nexdock is best as a portable screen for the Switch or cloud gaming with your phone…
In terms of DeX, I feel like Samsung could still make money from laptops even if DeX were equally as capable… a lot of people aren’t e en aware of DeX, and even if they did, they would just see it as a novelty to write off… just think of how awesome the SPen is for the Note and Fold 3, and yet, it hasn’t dominated the market…. I think what Samsung should do with DeX IF they’re afraid it’ll compete too closely with their laptops is to make DeX the equivalent of a low end laptop… one that can smoothly handle tasks, but not one to use for gaming or video editing
